In Guadalajara, the blue zone is free on both Sundays and holidays. During these periods, drivers can park in the blue zone without paying fees or obtaining a parking ticket, with the exemption applying at the same times as on weekdays, namely from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
In addition to Sundays and holidays, the blue zone is free for vehicles that meet certain environmental requirements, such as electric vehicles, extended-range electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids with at least 40 kilometers of range, and fuel cell vehicles, as long as they have the 0 emissions environmental label.
